Attempting to combine art with mathematics and science is an unnecessary and futile thought. These two subject issues live on two totally different planes and may not be together. This root system has gone for many years and it has been successful. Schools will still offer better quality education and educate creative minds without integrating the STEAM education system. Famous cellist Yo-Yo Ma would differ. He tells “that beliefs behind arts integration–collaboration, flexible thought, and disciplined imagination–lead to this ability to innovate.” Scientists have been making new innovations and designs for ages without the blending of art and science in education. The most significant part of recent technological discoveries is being able to use prior knowledge of mathematics and science to what you are trying to accomplish. For instance, environmentalists have learnt about this climate and go up with ways to protect our time for the long-term.
