I feel I’m starting to get better at annotations and and I’m progressing well. There are a few areas I might need touchup but otherwise find my work to be good.

We as people should be taught more about art and music in our schooling because it can give us much more knowledge towards the skills we need for the real world as we get older. These ideas should be talked more about so that the new generation growing up can have the best schooling possible. Art and music, we use in everyday life and are very important. I don’t agree with art budgets being cut from schools. It is very good to have art and is very therapeutic for kids to stay out of trouble.
Through my understanding of reading this essay art and music are vital classes in school to better further the education of children. This school budget cuts should not happen, and I hope one day that they will fully revamp the funds while adding more art and music curriculums. This would defiantly help the younger generation in so many ways!

Good. Practice writing the definitions of words in the margins. You might also rewrite the author’s main ideas in the margins as a way to help you remember the essay.
